It extends your HART/Modbus/Trex modem by up to 125 feet. It allows you to remotely talk to devices from a safe comfortable area. You can also connect an external power supply (not included) and remotely power the device over the same wires while you communicate with it (if needed). The cable reel allows you to quickly retract and store the cable.
